We are enjoying the fresh fallen snow and all the activity that surrounds it! The kids are so excited!! And the adults are trying to be!! 🙂 It was  sweet to see the kids’ faces when they saw the first snow. Today the hallway was full of coats and boots and mittens and we truly feel the change of season overnight.  

I was contemplating the students’ excitement on my drive home from school yesterday while I was wondering what my own driveway would be like when I got home.  It did not take long for me to turn my attention to the beauty around me, the white freshness it provided, and forget my worries.  It is a simple beauty reminiscent of a simple truth: the Lord covers us and cleans us too, even more thoroughly than the fallen snow.  All that is needed is to ask His forgiveness and accept it freely.  

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  Psalms 51:7

We pray for a wonderful weekend for each student and family.  I often pray that weekends are filled with a mixture of productivity and needed rest.
