Greetings VCS Friends and Family,

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John 15:4

We are closing the last day of school before Christmas break begins tomorrow! As staff, we have enjoyed telling the students what a beautiful job they did in the elementary Christmas program and secondary school play.  I thought as I drove home last night, what a beautiful thing it is that He created all of us in His image, but none of us alike.  He has gifted each of us each  uniquely with special gifts, abilities so necessary to benefit the body of Christ and to share the Simple Gospel of Jesus Christ.  

I was speaking to our secondary students this morning and reminded them that we will each be given our own opportunities to share Christ’s love in the words He gives us and the people He surrounds us with.  The Lord sees us, He hears our prayers, and He answers.  My prayer is that our students remain in him, listen to His voice, and desire the audience of One.  I pray that for each one of us as well. 

All of us at Valley are wishing each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  May our desire be to Abide in Him and remain in His Love.
