We are less than two weeks away from fall 2024!  And I want to say how excited all of us in the office will be to see you in the building again.  The summer has been warm and beautiful. All of us have had time to work and time to play, but there is something comforting that comes with the changing season and the anticipation of familiar routines and faces again.  

Teachers are busy in their classrooms, planning together and with the office, creating and planning for our students.  It is such a joy to witness the energy they have and the gifts they willingly share. Truly, they cover each other, uplift one another, and bring smiles and laughter while preparing and problem solving! I am grateful for each one and know you are as well. 

We also have exciting news to share! We have a new Physical Education teacher! Praise the Lord!  We are welcoming Mrs. Heather Cunningham to our VCS staff family! We are grateful that God led her to us and to this position. We will allow her to introduce herself to you in a newsletter soon.  

In closing, I just want to pray over these final days of summer vacation that you are deeply reminded of the Father’s great love for you and your children.  I pray that you may Abide in Him and rest in His goodness and provision.  

“I have loved you as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.” John 15:9

Jaguars First Games!!!

Today is an exciting day for our Jaguars! It is their first game of the fall 2024 season! We loaded up the bus with our Volleyball and Soccer players and a caravan of Jaguar fans following.  Our teams are playing St. Cloud Christian Academy. We give big thanks to Coach Lynette and Coach Mike. Our prayers are for safe travels, a great game, and great thanks for the fellowship with the body of Christ both on the road and on the court and field.  We will update you when we learn outcomes!

Open House and Corporate Meeting

Remember to make it to the Open House on Thursday, August 22nd from 6-7pm.   This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and put books and supplies in lockers.  Make sure to stay for the corporate meeting at 7pm to hear school updates and learn the ins and outs of what is ahead for our school year 2024-2025. We look forward to seeing you then!
