And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Colossians 3:17 

It is humbling to see how our Father provides for our needs, exceeds even our greatest expectations, and will be glorified in all things that only He can do.  

We see the Lord’s hand upon this school year. We see His wisdom, His Grace, and His timing.  

I am also considering today Matthew 6:25-30 where Jesus reminds us to not worry, because we are of great value to Him and that if He cares for the birds of the air and the wildflowers of the field, how much more will he watch over us? 

We are thankful for each one of you reading this newsletter. Thank you to those who are new to our family and those of you who have been faithful for so very long. God sees you. He knows your name. He is mindful of you.

Welcome New Students and Families!!

We would like to welcome our new students, kindergarten through twelfth grade! We have added 26 new students to our school body.  It is so much fun to see these new faces, to witness new friendships forming, and feel the halls and classrooms fill up again!  These new students represent twelve new families to our VCS family! As we see new faces and meet new families, let’s get to know each other and support one another in this mission.  Thank you to veteran families and those who have just joined us. You are building our school and we are thankful for your special partnership in Christ-centered education in our community.  

Parade

It is that time of year again! Valley Christian School will be participating in the Osceola Wheels and Wings Parade on Sunday, September 8th.  This is a wonderful opportunity to be present in the community, let others know about our school and share the love of Christ!  More information about the time will come to you just as soon as we learn our placement in the parade.  We will be meeting in the school parking lot to board our Jaguars bus and will be coming directly back to the parking lot following the parade.  Please communicate with the office if you are willing to walk in the parade with us! Jaguar and Spirit wear is highly recommended!!

Creation Trip!!

Ninth-twelfth grade students will once again be traveling to Kentucky for our Creation Trip this fall.  We visit the Creation Museum as well as Noah’s Ark.  Possible dates may be October 3rd-6th, HOWEVER, this is contingent upon us finding a second bus driver.  If you know of anyone who is interested in this opportunity, loves Jesus, and cares about kids and Christian education, please have them contact the office.  This is a great team building opportunity for our high school students and an opportunity to build our faith in the Lord!
