Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.  Psalm 19:14

I was thinking about this verse today.  It is such a beautifully simple and complete thought and prayer.  What a gift to be able to turn to His Word and find such perfection.  

We can ask daily that His words be in our mouths. We can ask moment by moment that He instructs the meditation of our hearts.  

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.  Psalm 19: 3-4.  

And when we do not hear the words to speak. When we do not know even the meditation of our own hearts, we can rely on such verses as three and four. May it be at those times that we too be like the heavens and the skies. May the Lord allow us even in silence to proclaim his glory and display his craftsmanship without saying a word and when our voices are not heard.

Thank you to Morning Sidewalk Volunteers! 

We want to give a big thank you to Michelle Bringgold, Megan Perry, and Laurie Stafne for donating their time to help watch the morning drop off time.  We have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday covered. We are only in need of Thursday morning.  

This is no small blessing! It has allowed me to communicate with teachers and meet needs before classes begin and allows office staff to meet student and parent needs in the office. Mornings are full! Thank you, thank you! 

New Vacuums Needed

We are looking for four new vacuum cleaners to be donated.  The school is responsible for vacuuming nearly the entire building up and down, especially by Fridays before the school is vacated.  We thank all our great students and teachers and staff for accomplishing this task and many more before leaving for the weekend.  However, without enough vacuums, and working vacuums,  it is taking a great deal of time.  If you would be willing to purchase a vacuum cleaner for the school, please reach out to the office and let them know!  

Operation Christmas Child on Tuesday, November 19th

Our students will be assembling Operation Christmas Child boxes for Samaritan’s Purse this Tuesday.  Please refer to the flier you received for ideas on what to bring to help pack boxes in the classroom. Classrooms will be packing shared boxes.  

Our secondary students have brought home permission slips to ride the bus and shop for items on Tuesday. Please be sure your student has brought money with them as well as returned their signed permission slip to the office. 

This is a great opportunity for your student to use money they have earned from a job or a job they have done for mom and dad. We are excited to send gifts around the world to children in need. And most importantly each box is sent with the love of Christ and the Gospel of Salvation.

Miracle at Big Rock 

A big thank you to Big Rock for donating one free ticket per student to Faith night on December 4th! Elementary students were given their flyers at conferences or by their teachers. Secondary students may stop by the office to pick theirs up! Please see the flier below!
