We are excitedly closing the first quarter of the year! There have been several milestones we have met. We just celebrated the close of  our soccer and volleyball season at our sports banquet Thursday evening. We may have a record high for how many players participated this year. We are so proud! Some teams are young teams, but growing teams.  And most importantly they are growing in their personal relationships with the Lord.  The MCAC tournament was a success. They are growing too! It will be exciting to watch the changes as we learn together, all within the body of Christ both on and off the courts and fields.  

We are also preparing for our conferences next Tuesday, November 12th and Thursday November 14th.  Teachers are excited to sit with parents who we have partnered with to disciple their children in the Lord.  Please make sure you have signed up for conferences and mark your calendars. We are preparing for success.  

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving vacation is just around the corner beginning on Wednesday November 27th. We will return on Monday December 2nd.  We’re talking frequently with students about what we are most thankful for. This week our nation has realized a tremendous gift from our Heavenly Father in a protected election and a new President Elect. His eyes are on America, His people have prayed, and those prayers have been answered. 

I encourage each of you to enjoy the weekend with your family. I always ask in prayer for you that the weekend be filled with productivity where necessary and much needed rest.  

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,  and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7:14
